I just waded through some 150 users and some 50 posts and deleted all the spam as well as the users that posted it. In order to avoid it happening right away again, I also disabled new registrations completely for the time being.

We'll look into finding a new way to allow registrations in a more controlled way so that the forum will not completely overflow with rubbish (nor our inboxes with spamming requests for new registrations!)
